how do i verify my payment information i want to download an app on my phone but it keeps telling me to to verify my payment method. however there is no option to do so only an option to remove a payment method which i cannot do due to on going subscriptions

Go through the steps Apple outlines in Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support

Edit/update your existing method if required, or add a new one.
