Photos deleted from iPhone after they are downloaded to my PC

I am using an iPhone 14 and have been downloading my photos via iCloud to my PC for a long time. I recently changed my PC and downloaded and installed the iCloud app.

The settings are the same as I was using my previous PC (as far as I can remember) but now the photos are being deleted from my phone and iPad once they have been downloaded on the computer.

I have tried changing various settings on my phone, but cannot seem to stop the images being deleted.

I have 155gb of space free on my phone, so this is not an issue.

I have read lots of answers on the forum, but none seem to work. Can you help please
