Sexually Inappropriate Unsolicited Email

I am running the latest version of iOS software for my iPhone 15 Plus (17.6.1) and have started receiving hundreds of unsolicited sexually oriented emails.

What can I do to cease the bombardment of these trashy emails? Can I forward these spam emails to Apple or take other steps on my phone, or use a software program that can eliminate this bothersome and offensive communication?

Review this support article about reporting these emails and that includes reporting to the FTC.

Preventing your email address from being used by scammers involves planning on your part to control who you give your email address to. Apple does have a service called Hide My Email that allows you to create email addresses that you can easily manage and control where you want to use them.

Blocking emails can be an option when you receive emails from the same email address, but in most case spammers will spoof the email address and you will receive them from different addresses making it impossible to fully block. The same is true for blocking phone numbers from scammers who can also spoof the phone number, so you will receive repeated spam calls from different phone numbers.
