The search function in my iPhone 15 Pro Mail app is not working correctly

running iPhone 15 pro with iOS 17.5.1

simply put the mail search is not accurate and does not work properly. Some emails are simply not found. It’s not a settings issue. I have restarted the device 2x with no fix.

There has to be a bug in the search algorithm that Apple can’t seem to acknowledge or fix. It has been going on for awhile if you read the comm7nity notes.

search works fine on my Mac and my iPad. The same email or random emails on my iPhone seem to be hidden by harry potters Invisibility Cloak. Apple needs someone to perform some magic to fix this very frustrating bug.
