Hello, I am wanting to get the new iPhone 16 but I want to trade in my iPhone 14 Pro that I bought from Apple as well. How will I be able to transfer my AT&T service if I have to trade in my iPhone 14? Does apple help you activate AT&T service?

If you order the new iPhone 16 from Apple, when you order the phone, you choose the carrier you have and identify the phone you want to trade. When the new phone comes, it's already ready for you to set up and you'll be asked if you want to transfer your phone service to the new phone. It's all very simple. You don't have to give Apple your trade until you've received the new phone and you can either send it in or take it to your closest Apple Store.

iPhone 16 has not been released yet, just an FYI.

Transferring your ESIM to your new iPhone, purchasing your new iPhone and trading your old phone in can all be done through Apple. If your new device needs a different SIM card than what you have, you will need to contact your carrier.

Here’s a video on how to transfer your data and set up your new iPhone.
