Safe to delete .ipsw file that appeared in Macbook trash?

After connecting my iPhone to my Mac, a large .ipsw file appeared in the trash can. Does anyone know what this is, and is it safe to delete it? It's named "iPad_64bit_TouchID_ASTC_16.6_20G75_Restore.ipsw" which is weird because it seems like it was something for my iPad but it showed up after connecting my iPhone. If it's not needed then I'd prefer to delete it since it's almost 6GB in size.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.3
