Apple Pencil Pro not working with find my

When I go to add my pencil pro to find my, I get the following. Tried many resets and so many different combinations of pencil pairing, Bluetooth resets, and leaving the iPad on and off to try and trigger a firmware update, even apple online support couldn’t help me fix it. The iPad and Pencil are not even a week old. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Apple Pencil Pro NOT in Find My on iPhone (but iPad : yes) Hi, I just got the new M4 iPad Pro with the new Apple Pencil Pro. The Pencil appears in Find My on iPad, it works great. But it doesn’t appear on my iPhone (all my other devices and accessories appear). Am I the only one ? Do you have a solution ? Thx
