How to erase a locked iPad without password
I have a iPad model 1416 that is locked and we don’t know the answers to the security questions and the email has been deleted What do I do to erase it and start over

You can erase the iPad, but it will remain activation locked unless you know the Apple ID and password used to enable activation lock. This is a theft deterrent feature, and there is no way to bypass it.
The only option is if you are the original purchaser who bought it directly from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, and you still have the original receipt that matches your ID.
