How can I make my iPhone spell names correctly on Voicemail?

Why are common names constantly misspelled on voicemails? My names is Jodie which my phone should know but my voicemails come across as Jody as a boy…. Also common names like Kylie is spelled Kaili? That makes no sense? How can I make my phone spell names correctly including my own.? Shouldn’t it know when people leave me a voicemail on my phone how to spell my own name?

The spelling "Jody" is used by both genders.

Names are hard. People spell them all sorts of ways and pronounce them all kinds of ways. I knew someone named Deirdre ("deardra")who some people, no matter how many times she corrected them, pronounced it "Deedree". If humans can't get it right, voice recognition software will probably have even more trouble. Also, the software doesn't necessarily "know" that the "Jody" in the voicemail refers to you.
