Music play button in the control centre automatically plays apple music song

When I press play on either my apple earphone speaker or the play button in my control centre, it automatically starts playing a random song that I bought from apple music. I don't have an apple music subscription and I just bought the song through a one time itunes purchase. Is there any way I can stop this from happening?
