Initial password fail

I am not able to login. After multiple tries of trying, I don’t even get an option to reset.

iMac 24″, macOS 14.5

Begin with Reset your Mac login password - Apple Support. If necessary, proceed with If you can't reset your Mac login password - Apple Support.
