How can I change the shortcut icon for iTunes?

Having created a desktop shortcut for iTunes, used the shortcut Properties "Change Icon" procedure - but was presented with one icon, a blue rectangle, instead if the familiar linked 2 notes icon for iTunes. How do I change the shortcut image to the familiar iTunes icon?
