app store icon lost

Can anybody here help me what to do if my app store icon is lost? thanks

If you can't find it anywhere on the iPad then I would suggest a restore. This should allow you to backup all your data first and then reset the iPad.

As I replied to your exact same post on this subject elsewhere, it's almost certainly because you have turned it off in Settings/Restrictions/Installing Apps. You'll probably find that is switched off.
Turn it on and eveything should be OK.

HI,

Tap Settings / General / then tap *Reset Home Screen Layout*.

See if that helps.

My disbaled daughter's ipad has the same problem, i tried to go through the setting/general/restrictions [buit could not find the code for restrictions so i had to restore the ipad on i tunes, hurrah apps store icon, but then i synched her back up and the icon disappeared again. so i did again but not synch the back up tio the cloud and restore but rest the bipad, input the setting again then backed up the data files only thwen the icon stayed
