Your tag line says that you have an iPhone 6s Plus. You can update an iPhone 6s Plus to the latest release of iOS 15. You cannot update it to iOS 16 or later. If by chance you actually have an iPhone 6 Plus (no "s"), you can only update it to the latest release of iOS 12. You cannot update an iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 13 or later.
