Thumbnail Previews Not Showing

Since upgrading to Sonoma 14.6.1 all of the file thumbnail previews in Finder are just showing the generic preview image (see below). Previously I could see a small version of the image or .mp4 file as the file icon. How do I get the preview thumbnail back?

Okay, I feel stupid. I found the solution in View > Show View Options panel in Finder. Apparently "Show icon preview" somehow got turned off for all my folders. I turned it back on and now I can see the previews. I just wish I could make this the default view for ALL folder automatically, but, even clicking on the "Use as Default" button doesn't apply to all folders, just the folder I'm currently viewing. Any way to make it for all folders?
