Can I edit the contact fields on my iPhone?

Here’s how you can edit a contact on your iPhone: Tap a contact, then tap Edit, edit their contact information, when you’re finished, tap Done.

You can't delete any of the fields available in the editing mode. But, if you don't use the fields, they won't appear unless you tap "Edit". For example, if you don't enter a birthday in the "Birthday" field, it will not appear when you look at the contact.

Touch the circle with the "+" sign. Then circle with the +-+ comes up touch that and a delete should appear on the right.
