How to turn off iCloud notification banners on Macbook

Due to our network design, private relay is consistently notifying me of a change in status. The notification banner does not disappear unless I click the x to close it. How do I change this setting? It is not editable under the notifications tab in system settings even though it is formatted like a notification banner. I would like it to disappear after a couple seconds like other notifications or be able to eliminate the notification all together.
