Wacom tablet not working with macOS Sonoma on M3 MacBook pro

I have repeatedly gone through all the suggested procedures for solving this problem, but security settings still rejects the Wacom every time. The problem is not with Wacom, it is with Apple's security settings in Sonoma. My settings are exactly as recommended in setup and troubleshooting instructions, but still no response. I can't use this device on a very expensive MacBook pro but it works fine on a cheap PC laptop ! Go figure....

Guess the above could be directed to one or the other contributor in you question

Kernel extensions

In macOS 11 or later, if third-party kernel extensions (kexts) are enabled, they can’t be loaded into the kernel on demand. They require the user’s approval and restarting of the macOS to load the changes into the kernel, and they also require that the secure boot be configured to Reduced Security on a Mac with Apple silicon.

Refer to below heading in that same Link for additional info and instructions

I have followed all the instructions rigorously multiple times, including what Wacom says and what other users, Youtubers etc say. The Wacom One should be compatible with any Mac running OS 10 ++ and the driver I downloaded claims it is Sonoma compatible. But the same issue occurs each time, the security settings do not permit the tablet to function even though all necessary apps and extensions are enabled and permissions seemingly granted.

For interest I just reinstalled it with a new driver for Windows on another laptop. It took five minutes to do and worked immediately. But I have been using Mac computers for creative work for 35 years and this issue really ****** me off! I don't want to switch to Windows for all my work because it is ugly and clunky compared to Mac OS, but there is a limit to how much grief I will accept from Apple's over vigilant security settings. A computer is a tool that should work, pronto!
