I am unable to register credit card on a third party app on my iPhone 12 mini

i can't register my bank credit card on a third party app on my iphone 12 mini but I can register it on the same app using my wife's iphone 14. Is there a setting on my phone that I need to change?

Not sure what app you are attempting to register your card. When adding to the Wallet app, it is the bank of the issued card that must approve it to be added. The app may be requiring similar verification that the bank is unable to confirm.
