Hello, My text alert does not go off when I get text messages, yes I have checked sound settings and the robot alert is gone. There are plenty of other annoying alerts to delete can we have robot back please? Maybe a glitch in your updates you need to fix.

With the release of iOS 17, Apple removed the option to use ring tones as text tones. Robot remains available as a ring tone. This is not a glitch.
No one here in this user-to-user forum can change anything about the way the phone works. You can let Apple know what you'd like to see here:
Meanwhile, have you tried changing the sound to something else? Do you still have the problem getting the alerts? Are you not getting the alerts or are you not hearing them? Those are different problems with different solutions.

If none of the available text alert tones suit you, you can make or buy others.
