My old SIM card doesn’t fit in my new iPhone

Hi,

I have just bought a restored iPhone 13 . The SIM card of my old iPhone 7 doesn’t fit in the new phone and I find myself temporarily in Sweden while my service provider is in France. So….?

Yup.

eSIM not supported in all regions. Learn more about eSIM on iPhone.

The earliest model I could find with SIM card specs in the docs was the iPhone 5S, and it took a Nano-SIM too.

🤔 Here's another thought: If, for some mysterious reason, your iPhone 7 really does take a micro-SIM card (which I doubt), does the micro-SIM card have perforations so that you can snap the middle out and convert it into a nano-SIM?

When I switched from my beloved Doro flip-phone (with a mini-SIM) I had to get a new SIM card from my service provider (I think it was free) and it was one of the micro/nano convertible types.
