Issues with Apple Watch after update to 10.6.1

Since the update, the heart monitor has stopped working on my SE 2nd generation

So, your options are continuing to try unpairing and force restarting or contacting Apple Support. From what you’re indicating it could certainly be a hardware failure.

I have issues too.

It seems like the weather app on the watch is restarting/crashing as it disappears from the app list or options.

This leave me with the weather complication on the watch as "not set". If I try to check them it says not set.

From time to time the app starts and ask for permission to use GPS location, but there is not the "always" option.

This put troubles also to my iphone as the weather app stop working as the widget does not get the location.

There is a constant fight on icloud account between the watch (ultra by the way) and the iphone, battling on setting the permission for the weather app.

Since updating to 10.6.1, I am having a big issue! First, the digital crown stopped working. Hard reset didn't work. Paired and unpaired didn't work. Then the watch would go black but I still heard alerts. Unpaired/paired again didn't work. Watch kept going black then coming back on. It’s been on the charger for a while but now it’s strictly black and unable to do a hard reset. So even if there is a fix to the update, I’m screwed because my phone basically won’t turn back on.

Was your iPhone in your pocket or hand when the steps were recorded?

It’s not common, but occasionally the unpairing and pairing need to be done several times before the issue resolves.

Do you have Bluetooth and WiFi enabled on both devices?

Did you try my suggestions above to unpair the devices, force restart both and then pair the devices again? Pairing could certainly be causing the issues you describe.

I have even reset the privacy setting on iphone. None is working.

It's clearly an icloud bug with the weather app in the apple watch update.
