iPhone 15 not connecting to CarPlay w/RAM 1500

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 classic. My previous iPhone (iPhone 13) connected flawlessly. I recently got an iPhone 15 and now CarPlay does not connect. I've tried some other suggestion from this site (deleted all paired Bluetooth devices, renamed phone, rebooted, etc.) with no success. When I look under Settings<General<CarPlay all I see is the spinning wheel of death next to available cars.

Consulting my truck's radio manual, once connected the "phone" icon should be replaced by the "CarPlay". That does not happen, (the "phone" icon remains). This did work properly with my old iPhone 13 mentioned above.

Next, I consulted my truck's owner's manual, I have enable "Smartphone Device Mirroring On" under the Bluetooth<Projection Manager option.

The USB-A to USB-C cable that I am using charges the phone in the truck's USB port (indicating a "good" cable).

So, what am I missing? Any assistance would be appreciated!

It was nice to see that my post gathered a few views. I do admit, it was a bit discouraging that no one would/could offer some advice. So, I will post the fix in case others experience similar issues. It turns out that is was the cable that I was using. I ordered new cables off of Amazon and no my CarPlay works without issue.
