I have a Denon receiver AVR-S960H as the hub with Apple TV providing video streaming. Everything turns on but no matter what I do to increase volume, the receiver seems to fight back and keeps taking the volume back down to zero. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi. Thank you for your reply. Leaving this here for someone else that might be faced with the same issue in the future. I tried everything, like every key combination and also even unplugging one piece of equipment at a time to try and isolate. The thing that did the trick at the end was leaving the AppleTV remote on the charger until the battery was completely charged. I no longer had the issue once I started using the remote again. Thanks again.

Possibly a remote is erroneously giving a continuous Volume Down signal?
