OS 11.7.4 - Apple Mail will not open browser at prompt to add Google account I have had Gmail working properly in Apple Mail for a very long time in my personally owned MacBook Pro. I had to update my Gmail password due to a security breach and as soon as I did Apple mail prompted me to go to the internet to fix the issue (adding a google account requires this in Mail). The window just stays open after you click "open browser" and shows a whirly ball. Google, Safari, Chrome, all of the above work just fine. it is getting Apple Mail to figure this situation out that is the challenge. HELP! Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid. Clicking on an email address link on any Safari webpage results in the dialog: Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid. I think Safari is supposed to open my default email client after clicking an email address link on a Safari webpage . e.g. http://www.smithplywoods.com/contact-us , http://cantekamerica.com/service/ I also get this dialog when I click the Forward icon in the Safari desktop header beside the URL address field and select Email this page or Email link to this page. Also see this dialog in iOS 17.2 Safari. This has been happening for many months now and after numerous restarts. Any suggestions on how to get Safari to open an email client when an email address link is clicked on? Using Macbook M2 Pro, Sonoma 14.3, iOS 17.2

Mail keeps crashing Att mail account suddenly offline. I can get mail from provider's website but mail keeps asking for my Yahoo password, asks for my ID twice, then my password, then mail crashes; rrepeatedly. I get this error message: Preferences Error: There was an error in internet Accounts preferences. How do I fix this? I am using a MacBook Pro with MacOS Mohave 10.14.6

Sounds a lot like an internet connectivity issue. If you are using WiFi try restarting both your WiFi router and internet modem. Also try restarting you MacBook Pro in “safe mode” to see if the issue clears. Safe Mode performs a number of maintenance tasks and often clears such glitches. It can take several minutes for your MacBook to boot into Safe Mode. Be patient.
