Is there a way to stop proxy files from Final Cut Pro, from saving to my iPad Pro?
I've been using Final Cut for iPad for our recording studio but I don't want the proxy files to be sent to the iPad. Currently, I have the iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) recording the video via Final Cut Camera app and it's connected to an external hard drive to store the recording. I then have the iPad as a controller to display how the iPhone recording looks as the iPad is connected to a display via HDMI.
The iPad will stop the recording saying it doesn't have enough space available. I don't want the iPad to do anything besides mirroring the iPhone recording. Is there anyway to turn that off? There isn't a ton of settings to the Final Cut software but I don't care about editing the software in that app as I use something else. Any help would be appreciated.
