Why is the passcode option greyed out on my Apple Watch Series 9?

Hello everyone, I am unable to setup passcode on my apple watch series as it passcode has been greyed out. I have already tried ScreenTime/Restrictions/Privacy/allowing changes for passcodes and accounts. Also tried resetting network settings and location & privacy.

I recently upgraded my Apple Watch but no matter what I tried, the Passcode wasn't being used and the Set Passcode options were greyed out. Solution: On your iPhone, go to Content & Privacy Restrictions. The options for Passcode Changes and Account Changes must be set to allow to set up a passcode or change it. Once I allowed those two options, the Passcode Changes screen was active and I could set a passcode for my Watch.

Passcode greyed out on watch series 8 I have my watch series 8 synced with Iphone 13 and I am not able to set any passcode on the watch. The passcode is greyed out. However, during the initial setup I entered the passcode and enable the same but then post setup its greyed out. I have switched off the screen time, wrist detection and what not still not working also tried resetting.

Turn on passcode greyed out on apple watch we want to set a passcode on Apple Watch but it’s greyed out - we have re paired iPhone and watch, taken off passcode on screen time, looked at vpn management nothing in there - any further ideas much appreciated

If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support

Be sure to put your watch on its charger and keep it there until you complete those steps.
