My Apple Mail App is showing incorrect flagged messages count

In iOS Apple Mail the “Flagged” count is 135, but when I tap on this, there are no flagged messages. I tried deleting every email message in this account, including Archived, Trash and Sent, and the count remains 135.

Bug in Mail app Apple Lately I experience a bug in the Mail app from Apple. It often happened that an email that I send isn’t send at all. It’s also not in another folder like Drafts. It’s just gone like I never sent anything. At the moment of sending indent see anything special. I find out later that it’s gone when instaat wondering why I haven’t had answer yet. Do more people experience this? I’ve got an iPhone 12 with iOS 16.4.1. I already experienced it before I updated to the latest OS.

Mail app intermittent failure I am running an iPhone 11 with IOS 16.5.1 and I am having an issue with the Mail app in that sometimes (but not always) when I send or reply to an email the app will act like it sent the email, but then later when I check why I have no response, I can find no trace in sent messages or outbox of the email I wrote and the recipient never received anything. Its like the message I wrote just vanished when I hit send. It’s really annoying. What’s going on?

Disregard, I figured it out. I deleted the Mail app from my iPhone, then reinstalled it. All the incorrect counts were then correct.
