That would be worse than the AV software. Never, ever install cleaning, optimization or AV software. None of them do what they claim. All of them actually make the system unstable.
No such product is required.
If your connecting to financial places, don’t UNLESS the place offers a physical digital token such as RSA period.

A VPN service provides ZERO security when accessing your bank, or any website. If the site or bank service is not secure, a VPN will not change that.
One more question.... is "Clean My Mac" something that should be used?
