Your iPhone has reached the end of its iOS software update support, and will not update past iOS 12.5.7.

It’s about time to buy a new iPhone ⇢

Keep in mind, Apple will be releasing a new lineup of iPhones in a few weeks, so stay tuned.

You posted in the Mac desktop / laptop macOS Sonoma forum, but your issue seems to be related to using iOS 14 on an iPhone 6.

Regardless, if what you are trying to do is upgrade the version of iOS on your iPhone 6 from iOS 12 to iOS 14, you can't as iOS 12 is the latest version that can run on that iPhone model.

If you need to run a newer version of iOS, you will need to replace your iPhone with a newer model.
