When I insert the CD in the drive and the link comes up I only have the choice of Podcast or Audiobook NOT Music? The Podcast is where they are saved but how do I get them into my Library??

Did you install any of Apple Music, Apple TV, or Apple Devices? If so, that will be the behavior of iTunes with any of those installed. Uninstall all of whatever three of those you installed and iTunes should go back to normal. May need a computer reboot after uninstall.

I have had iTunes on my laptop and iPad for many years, and have uploaded a LOT of my CDs to it - it’s just this week that I wanted to get rid of some more of my CDs and when I go into the prompt I only get the choice of Podcast or Audiobooks (neither of which I use). I know there’s something new regarding Apple Music and ITunes - so not sure if that’s the problem?
