Apple TV log in on TV app

I attempted to log into Apple TV on my TV app and got an error message that my account log in info was incorrect. I logged into Apple TV on my iPhone and the information was correct. I then changed my password and tried to log in on the TV app again and got the same message that my account information is incorrect. Help!
