Syncing safari multiple profile bookmarks to Chrome/Windows

I'm considering using Safari as a main browser on my Mac. I have created 2 profiles (work and personal) and have imported my work and personal bookmarks into each.

Now I need to be able to use these on Windows. I have installed the iCloud app and the chrome extension to sync bookmarks.

My bookmarks have appeared. But it's the union of bookmarks from all profiles.

How do i sync just my personal bookmarks (for example) ?

My hope is that I should be able to use Chrome on Windows for my personal stuff and Firefox on Windows for my work stuff. Is this even possible?

How many bookmarks are we talking? 10? 20? 100?

Depending on that figure, it may be relatively easy to import all bookmarks to both browsers on Windows and then delete whichever ones you don't want in Chrome or FireFox.

Another option is importing all bookmarks from Safari from your Mac but use a Google or Mozilla account to sync across devices.

I use both Safari and FireFox but use FireFox exclusively on Windows. But instead of using a totally separate browser to replicate what "profiles" do though, I have folders full of bookmarks on my bookmark toolbar, like this:

To add on to this, I use a great extension from FireFox called Containers. Essentially it does what Profiles do in Safari but all in the same window. And tabs are color coded depending on what Container I assigned to certain URLs.

Here, I have 3 containers opened in one window. Pink represents one, blue represents one, and orange represents another. This saves you from having to open a different browser or private window to sign into things that use the same single sign on provider. Ex: I use Microsoft Office in both my work and school environments.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions about this setup.
