Airpods Pros stay at full volume

Whenever I try to use my airpods on mac, it is either at full volume or muted, no in between. The volume slider says the volume is changing but it doesn't. I tried to factory reset and reconnect multiple times, but nothing has worked.

Re: "Airpods Pros stay at full volume"

Have you checked the volume on the AirPods Pros themselves ?

Pause, skip, and adjust volume with your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support

You can also: Adjust the volume of sound effects for AirPods - Apple Support

eg: effects when put in ears, alerts, etc.

As well as Mac's usual volume slider, you might want to check another slider is adjusted to suit:

Apple Menu > Settings > Sound > Output > Adjust the output slider

You can change the accessibility settings for your AirPods to suit your hearing needs

Eg: You may want to: Set headphone accommodations for AirPods - Apple Support

Other tips for Mac: Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices - Apple Support

Hope something here helps put you back in control of the AirPods Pro's volume!

All the best :-)
