What happens to apps and music if I change country/region in Apple ID?

Apps and purchases will remain on your iPhone and work but once you change country you may not be able to re-download them or update them should the need arise. Make sure you keep backup of any media you have purchased (store them on an external drive using a computer)

If you have an Apple Music subscription, any streaming or temporary downloads will no longer play. Playlists will be lost. This will apply to any subscription service since you have to cancel all subscriptions and let them fully expire as part of changing country settings.

Applications you've already downloaded will remain on the unit, but may not be available in the new country's store.

You won't be able to change the region while subscriptions are active, including ones which haven't expired.
