Can I stop my Photos from being erased when my devices are syncing

I'm wondering if I start to sync my MacBook will my photos be deleted automatically if I deleted some photos on my iPhone.

Because I still have the same photos on my MacBook but I want it deleted but I don't want to go through deleting all over again.

You haven't said if you are using iCloud Photos to sync Photos Libraries on your devices.

If you are, then iCloud Photos will copy all Library pictures from a device to iCloud Photos and then copy those to all other devices. iCloud Photos will ensure that the pictures on all your devices are exactly the same. That means that if you delete a picture on you iPhone, then the same pictures will be deleted everywhere. Of course, they can still be seen in Recently Deleted, and they can be restored for 30 days.

If you turn on iCloud on your Mac, then any pictures that aren't already in iCloud will be copied to iCloud Photos, and then they will be copied to all other connected devices. And any pictures in iCloud Photos that aren't on the Mac will be copied to its Photos Library.

Keep in mind: if you delete pictures from the Recently Deleted view, they will be permanently deleted everywhere-- in general that's a bad idea. Having 30 days tho change your mind is a gift!

I want my photos deleted and. gone well some photos since I have at least 50,000 pictures and I want 35,000 deleted, but I don't want to go through deleting it again on my Macbook I do have iCloud and I want it gone It's already off my iphone not all my pics though I don't have my MacBook sync to iCloud I did much earlier and I didn't want to go through it updating again and again so I have it deleted off my iPhone, but I still see it on my MacBook I synced it now because I'm wondering if it will be deleted overtime without me trying to delete it again it took me a very long time to go through my entire gallery to select certain photos to delete. I don't want to go through that again. You have got any tips if it will delete without me picking certain ones again.
