Apple Watch Unavailable on iPad

Hi, a few weeks ago I got an Apple Watch Series 3. It is completely updated, all of my devices are fully updated. It worked fine with the Fitness+ app on my iPad, I could pair it for my workouts and see my metrics on screen.

A few days later I needed to unpair and pair my watch back for an unrelated issue, ever since I did that my iPad always says "Apple Watch Unavailable. To show your metrics, your watch needs to be unlocked and have Bluetooth turned on." I have Bluetooth turned on and I don't have a passcode on my Watch, only wrist detection, so my watch is unlocked. This problem does not happen on my phone with Fitness+ but the screen is so small and when I cast it to my MacBook it doesn't show metrics which really bothers me.

I have tried every single solution I could find and contacted Apple Support (which wasn't helpful because they then wanted to have a rep call me which I am not available to do). The only thing I haven't tried is factory resetting my iPad.

I have tried:

  1. Unpairing and repairing my watch to my phone
  2. Factory resetting my watch
  3. Logging out of iCloud on my phone and iPad, then logging back in
  4. Shutting down and opening the Fitness+ app again
  5. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitness+ app
  6. Opening the Home app on my phone and iPad
  7. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Home app on my phone and iPad
  8. Restarting my phone, iPad, and watch
  9. Turning off wifi on my watch
  10. Turning off and on the Bluetooth on my iPad and watch
  11. Turning off the Bluetooth on my phone while my iPad searches for my watch

I am not logged into two separate iCloud accounts. I only have one account that I am logged into on all devices.

I am stumped I have no idea what to do, has anyone else had this issue and tried all of these solutions? It bothers me so much because it was working fine and then ever since the unpair and pairing it stopped working.

Thank you so much for replying, yes I checked to make sure and everything is synched with iCloud. I just did a factory reset for my iPad as well and the problem is still happening, although I did choose to backup from iCloud. I am thinking of doing a complete reset without a backup, but I would rather have that be a last resort. Do you have any other suggestions?
