Connect 24" Cinema Display A1267 to iMac18,3 (Retina 5k, 27“ 2017)

I would like to know if the following adapters will work to connect 24" Cinema Display A1267 to a iMac18,3 (Retina 5k, 27“ 2017):

USB Type-C Male (iMac) to Mini DisplayPort 1.4 Female (Cinema Display), and

USB-3.1 male (iMac) to Female USB-2.0 Female (Cinema Display)

iMac (2017 – 2020)

Hello everyone, I've read the older threads where the new Mac mini M1 with Thunderbolt 3 outputs worked with an Apple 27" Cinema Display with Mini Display Port input, as long as you had the right USB 4 to mini DP adapter. So my question is, should the new Mac mini M2 also work, or would there be a problem as it has Thunderbolt 4 outputs?

External Display Connections - New iMac to iMac 2015 Trying to connect my new iMac 2021 (24", M1) to an external display using my old iMac 27" late 2015. I have an Apple Thunderbolt Cable (with lightning bolt pictures on it) running from old iMac via a Mac Adapter Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2. The adapter is inserted into the Thunderbolt/USB 4 port. If I insert the adapter end into the UBS 3 ports on new iMac, an error appears 'Cannot use thunderbolt accessory'... Am I doing something wrong?

You don't need the second "adapter". You can just take the USB-A (USB 2.0) plug from the Cinema Display and plug it into one of the USB-A (USB 3.0) ports on the iMac.
