You don’t.

Re-use this iPhone 6 or iPhone 6S as an iPod, or as a “burner” phone, or recycle it, and scrounge yourself a newer or new iPhone.

Scrounging iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone SE 2nd gen, or newer, will get you iOS 17, and the upcoming iOS 18.

Any of which will be more capable than this older iPhone.
