Version 6A326 Has Broken My 1st Gen Airpods.

Updated to Version 6A326 and now my 1st Gen Airpod Pro’s transparency mode and noise cancellation is broken.

  1. Updated to current firmware.
  2. 100% charged.
  3. Disconnected from iPhone.
  4. reconnected to iPhone.
  5. listened to music in transparency mode, hear static.
  6. removed buds and placed them back in case.
  7. repeat steps 6 and 7, same results.
  8. cleaned buds thoroughly.
  9. replaced aftermarket bud tips with original apple bud tips.
  10. same results!

Nothing works!

Only thing that works is when you turn off transparency and noise cancelling. Sound quality is muffled and simply bad.

Apple, this is the third Apple product that firmware has broken my products. MacBook Pro (2007), IPhone 4, and now first Gen AirPods!!

I currently have MacBook Air M1, iPhone 9. I will NOT remain with Apple’s ecosystem after the third time your firmware had broke my Apple products! HP was notorious for doing this with their printers!

Apple, I’m done!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.6
