NOTE:

On September 9th, Apple is expected to launch new models with exciting new features, however ▷ no products were mentioned in the announcement.

Unfortunately, we are unable to discuss any details before it is announced.

If you can’t wait and need to upgrade now, let’s take a look at the latest iPhone: ⇣

Good Luck! 👋🏼😉

15.8.3 is the most recent iOS you can update to for the iPhone 7.

Refer to my post above:

If your device can no longer receive updates, It’s about time to buy a new iPhone ⇢

Keep in mind, in a few weeks Apple is releasing a brand new lineup of iPhones!

If you want to run iOS 16, you need an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus or an iPhone X.

If you want to run iOS 17 and 18, you need an iPhone XR or higher model.

My advice would be to buy an iPhone 14 or higher model.

The iPhone 7 Plus cannot update to iOS 16 or iOS 17......if that might be what you are asking about.

If you want to run iOS 16 or 17......frankly you need a new phone.

No. You need a new phone. Yours has gone as far as it can go.

What iOS is your iPhone 7 Plus on? iPhone 7 Plus can update up to iOS 15, and not past that due to hardware limitations.
