Dead, I won’t be posting for a few days until I get a new one

Difficult to guess without a picture. But do not attempt to use a physically damaged charger. You risk a harmful shock. Since you're getting a new one, just throw away the broken one, or recycle it if you have services in your area that will take small electronics.
