Why is my iPhone 15 Pro battery health 93% just after 5 months of purchase?

I have a small issue regarding the iPhone 15 that I purchased last March 2024. It’s been less than 5 months since I started using my phone, but the battery health is draining unusually fast. As of now, it’s at 93%, even though the total charging cycles are around 152.

This didn’t happen with my previous iPhone 12, and I always use the original cable and adapter for charging and I maintain my battery percentage 80-20%. Can anyone clarify this issue? (Refer below screenshot of battery health and no of charging cycles 👇)

The screenshot that you posted indicates that the battery has gone through 152 charging cycles.

You can expect the battery to decline about 1% for every 25 charge cycles. This is normal and expected.

152 divided by 25 = 6.1%

So it would be normal to expect that the battery started at 100% when the phone was new and it has declined 6.1%

100% - 6.1% = 93.9%

Apple always rounds down to a whole number, so 93% is displayed even though the battery is really at 93.9%.

Cellular eats up a lot more battery power than Wi-Fi, so try to use Wi-Fi as much as possible.
