Battery dies down at 29-35% on my iPhone 11 pro after iOS 17.6.1 update

I have been experiencing shutdowns on my iPhone 11 Pro at around 29-35% Battery. When i plug it in, the battery shows 11% once the phone opens. I think this started happening after i updated to iOS 17.6.1 (first version). I tried to update the OS to the re-released version thinking it might improve but it really did not have any improvement. Can anyone help me with this issue?

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 17

Hello drk_cyb12,,

There are various reasons I could think of for this happening. First of all, have you checked your battery status? A battery percentage of below 80% is not good and could result in these faults. Your phone will do this to protect itself, because it may not be able anymore to provide a high enough voltage at lower battery percentages, because some of the lithium cells will have "died". To check your battery status, go to Settings>Battery>Battery Status. I've had phones with battery statuses of 75%-70% and still work fine, so this doesn't have to be the issue necessarily if it is still within that range, but it could definitely be.

Another issue could of course be the fact that the new iOS versions will get more and more focused on higher end iPhones, which can sometimes be a bit too much for a much older phone, especially in combination with an older battery.
