When I close my lid / screen of my MacBook Pro M1, my screen is turning on automatically and battery is dying

I am Using MacBook from long time but never faced this issue and I am not sure why even Apple is not looking in to this issue I have seen multiple people reported same issue, I have updated my Mac to the latest versions and I have given my Mac Book Pro for the service center but no issue reported by them,But when I close My Lid / Screen of my Mac book Pro M1 my screen is turning on automatically and battery is keep Drying.

This makes me feel not to recommend any one to Buy MacBook again.. un less Apple resolve the issue ..Soon...

When you close the cover on a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, that is a REQUEST for your Mac to please SLEEP.

There are MANY reasons why it may not sleep on request, including set sleep to NEVER, Bluetooth devices still connected, sharing active, and software running that precludes sleeping. In addition, there have been extremely rare reports of screen sensor-angle calibration errors.

The really simple solution to never having a dead battery in the morning is to connect the power adapter before you set your Mac down for the night.

if you would like to explore the EXACT reason why yours may not be sleeping, run activity Monitor and check the ENERGY pane under the heading "prevents sleep"
