What Are the Correct Apple TV video settings?

Firstly the Apps I refer to are streaming apps in the UK. I have a 4K LG TV with Dolby Vision, HDR10Pro, Dolby Atmos, HLG. HMDI is true 2.1. Now I have the Apple TV normally set to 4KSDR and dynamic and frame match both on, with generally no problem as the Apps send the signal and the Apple TV pushes through (i.e HDR UHD, Dolby Vision). So I let the Apple TV upgrade the signal if necessary or send a SDR signal. Now I'm finding some apps (NOW TV) I use to watch sky sports UHD Football refuses to show and says not available. So I changed to 4K Dolby Vision and it worked. So the NOW app has been coded lazily. I have a couple of other apps but ignored them. However I have recently spotted Apple's support doc for 2023 which now seems to imply you set the level to the ability of your TV (i.e Samsung = 4kHDR, my LG 4K Dolby vision).About 4K, HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision on your Apple TV 4K – Apple Support (UK).

So the Apple TV can now match from the top and downgrade to SDR and vice-versa. I know this is hot topic on other forum's. Just wondering if any from Apple would care to comment.?
