How can I check IMEI of my iPhone?

To check your device IMEI, go to Settings > General > About and your device information will be displayed there along with IMEI.

Whether or not dialing that code does anything depends on your carrier. Does your phone make and receive calls? If so, the fact that you don't get an IMEI when dialing that means nothing.

If, however, you're having a problem using your phone, please explain what it is and perhaps someone can give you some suggestions.
