overcharged buying movies on apple tv

i decided to buy a $14.99 movie. when i did i got a notification from my apple wallet that i was charged $56.78. i’m super confused because of the extreme up charge on a movie that came out in 2007. i expected tax to come out too but not $41 worth of tax!
