Verticals fine blue line on MacBook Air, now blank blue screen when start up
Tried recovery start up, same screen. Is plugged in, does turn off. Have dropped it recently

There's almost certainly been damage to the screen or the main logic board. You'll need to take the Mac to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service center for diagnosis and a repair estimate.
