Difficulty in charging my iPad using several different cables and chargers

Same charging issues as others, tried several different cables and chargers. It would charge a little being connected to Mac Air. The IPad recognized the Mac Air 70 W charger being plugged in and it was used overnight to charge the iPad to 100%. The iPad is now useable but this procedure doesn’t solve the problem.
